Slapping Skins Drum workshop with Aaron Meli

Aaron Meli has developed a unique African drumming workshop which he brings to Cookham festival. Working with up to 30 drummers at a time and a variety of African drums from the djembe to the darabouka and the bougarabou, Aaron introduces different instruments from a range of cultures allowing participants to have fun learning the basics of playing these instruments.

 

Each workshop guarantees a drum for each participant and plenty of time for everyone to enjoy playing. For adults and children alike - come and have a go!
