Alcohol Ink Workshop with Karen Spencer-Millan

Sunday 1st March
9.30am - 2pm
Cookham Dean Village Hall

Alcohol inks are vibrant, fun and easy for beginners. Join Karen in this workshop to learn how to apply, remove and get texture from this brilliant medium. She will show you a few techniques to get different results, demo how to have a little control over them, but mostly you just get to play and see what fun creations you can make.

Students to bring

  • Apron/something to cover clothes

  • Gloves

  • Tiny detail brushes

  • Pencils

  • Face mask if you are sensitive to smells

  • Masking fluid – if you have it

  • Lunch

Optional – if you have at home

  • Posca pens/acrylic pens

  • Any other medium/surface you might want to try the inks on – eg ceramics, metals, canvas on boards, acetate, vinyl
