The Stanley Spencer walk will take you to interesting Spencer locations in Cookham. Your guide will tell you the story of Stanley Spencer's life, where he was born and grew up, his relationship with his two wives, and show the location of several of his most famous paintings including 'Cookham Resurrection' and 'Christ Preaching at Cookham Regatta'.
You'll find out the location of Cookham's 'Jubilee Tree', painted by Stanley Spencer in 1936, and where in the High Street Sarah Tubb thought the end of the world was coming.
