Janie Dee Brings her Beautiful World Cabaret to Cookham!

Two-time Olivier Award-winning West End star Janie Dee (The Motive and the Cue and Follies - National Theatre; Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends - Gielgud Theatre) confronts the climate crisis, and celebrates our beautiful world, through song and spoken word. Unusual and inspiring: this green twist on classic cabaret asks how we can each make a difference in the fight for our planet. Playful, radical, informative, and ultimately hopeful. Janie is currently starring in Noel Coward’s “Fallen Angels” in London at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Following on from a successful run of Beautiful World Cabarets last Summer, Cookham is delighted to welcome Janie Dee and friends to celebrate the 2026 Festival on March 6th in Holy Trinity church.

Janie has devised her own unique climate focused cabaret, celebrating our natural world, exploring and reflecting on the place nature holds in her life. She will be performing an inspirational selection of words and music along with several of her close friends (to be confirmed!) inspired by our Beautiful World.
