Theresa May in conversation with Lord Young

Friday 3rd May, 8pm
The Sir Bernard Miller Centre, Odney

Theresa May was only the second woman ever to hold the office of Prime Minister and the first to be Chairman of the Conservative Party. For six years, she was also Home Secretary, and since 1997 she has been the Member of Parliament for Maidenhead (including Cookham!).

She speaks around the world on a range of local, national and international issues, and she will be talking with Lord Young about her life in politics and her recent book “The Abuse of Power”. As Sir George Young, the Lord Young was a Member of Parliament for over 40 years and held three Cabinet posts, before becoming a life peer and serving as a whip in the House of Lords. He will have witnessed Lady May’s career from close range, including from within her own government.

Tickets: £15 each or £27.99 including an exclusive Paperback copy of "The Abuse Of Power"
