Ross Kemp: Take Nothing for Granted - Tales From an Unexpected Life

Ross Kemp is a BAFTA award-winning documentary maker, actor, and Sunday Times, Best-Selling author, who rose to prominence in the BBC One’s Eastenders. Since 2006, he has received international recognition
for his award-winning documentaries. An idea for a new series “Gangs“ for Sky led to a BAFTA for Best Factual Series and two further nominations.


After making 27 programmess around the world, Ross moved on to a new series: Ross Kemp in Afghanistan, spending time with various British army regiments, leading to a nomination for a BAFTA for Best Factual Series, and an AIB International Media Excellence Award for “International TV Personality“. Other documentaries have followed on international piracy, and in Gaza, Israel, and the Amazon rainforest, leading to Extreme World which saw Ross travel to troublespots around the world. Further awards ensued including Documentary Story of the Year, and a Visionary Honours award for best television show of the year for Ross Kemp, living with…on ITV.


Back in the UK Ross hosts the BBC quiz show Bridge of Lies and deep dives off the coast of Britain for the Sky History series. Ross Kemp: Deep Sea Treasure, Hunter, His great loves remain his family and his friends and his home in Cookham, and his dog, Bruno.


In conversation with Rob, Castell, Ross will share tales of his remarkable life and career including stories contained in his most recent book Take Nothing for Granted.
