This workshop is for everyone who wants to have a go at painting outside: first timers, beginners and competent artists.

Sarah will give you tips on equipment and how to approach painting outside. She will demonstrate in oil but can help you in any medium. Feel free to use the medium of your choice! You may want to just draw in a sketch book.

Weather permitting, the group will be painting near the Parish Centre so you will walk a short way. Sarah stands to paint but you may wish to bring a fold up chair. If the weather is too bad, Sarah will do a demonstration in the Parish Hall.
 
You are expected to bring your own materials.

All work produced can be on display in Cookham and for sale (optional) from Friday 1st – Sunday 17th May.

We are hoping this workshop will give you the confidence to enter the En Plein Air Competition on Saturday 9th May.
