This workshop is for everyone who wants to have a go at painting outside: first timers, beginners and competent artists.

Sarah will give you tips on equipment and how to approach painting outside. She will demonstrate in oil but can help you in any medium. Feel free to use the medium of your choice! You may want to just draw in a sketch book.

Weather permitting, the group will be painting near the Parish Centre so you will walk a short way. Sarah stands to paint but you may wish to bring a fold up chair. If the weather is too bad, Sarah will do a demonstration in the Parish Hall.

You could do this workshop following the morning charcoal workshop.
 

You will need to bring the medium of your choice; on registration you will receive a suggested equipment list.

We are hoping this workshop will give you the confidence to enter the En Plein Air Competition on Saturday 9th May.
