Rabbi Jonathan Romain: Assisted Dying
Thursday 14th May, 2:30pm
Pinder Hall, Cookham
£10
Assisted dying is one of the most contested topics of our time. It is partly a moral issue - can it ever be right for someone to take their own life, or is it better that people dying in pain be allowed to let go gently a few weeks early?

It is also an intensely practical issue - who is eligible, how can we ensure no one is pressurised into it?

Jonathan Romain has been a leading campaigner for it nationally and his new book A Better Death looks at the arguments for and against and comes down in favour of it.
